The Miami Valley Council's web site is undergoing extensive change. Among other things, they are in transition to a new provider! Please note the new URL:

At this writing, 1/18/12, the e-Newsletters are not yet up and running. When they are, my understanding is that you will have to re-sign up for the newsletters you may have been getting previously. I'm leaving the old details below until the transition is completed and all has been sorted out.

Let me urge the troop membership to sign-up for District and Council communications via the Council web site. This medium is intended to replace the quarterly "Scouter" newspaper we once received.
Sign-up is easy. Browse to the Council web site
http://www.miamivalleybsa.com
and click on the E-News Signup pick near the top/right of the web page to start the process. During the sign-up, you can select the categories of information you wish to receive. Let me suggest the following selections as a minimum:
A - Scouter - Council Newsletter
D - Miami District - Miami County
Newsletters from these sources are infrequent - only a couple a month - however, important information about upcoming opportunities like the 2013 National Jamboree will be distributed through these e-news letters!
